Game Recap

The Byron Center JV baseball team finished their season with an outstanding 23-4 record and losing only 1 conference game. The future looks bright for the Bulldogs with the freshman team finishing with a 25-5 record and the varsity currently has 20 wins and finished as Conference Champs.

In their last game of the season, the Byron Center Bulldogs JV Defeats Holland Christian 13-3 in 5 innings. Their bats were hot as many players had multiple hits.

Joey Sturtz earned the win for Byron Center Bulldogs JV. He tossed one and one-third innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, striking out two, and walking one. Jack Baker threw two and two-thirds innings, as two relievers helped Byron Center Bulldogs JV finish off the victory. Vanderzee took the loss for Holland Christian. He went four innings, surrendering 13 runs, 13 hits, and striking out two.

Byron Center Bulldogs JV collected 13 hits. Baker, Marcus Cisco, Brett Limbacher, and Nolan Bainbridge each collected multiple hits for Byron Center Bulldogs JV. Limbacher went 2-for-2 at the plate as he led the team with three runs batted in.
