Byron Center defeats Zeeland East 5-2

In a battle between pitchers, Casey Greskowiak held Zeeland East (Brooke Leonard) to one hit and seven strikeouts until the 6th inning.  Greskowiak also got solid defense behind her as the defense recorded two double plays and  Katie Bird (catcher) picked off a runner at first.  The game was 1-0 in favor of Byron Center

Just Too Cool!

Our very own Aaron Delange flies through the air and dunks one in the Cornerstone University Basketball Tournaments over Holiday break.  This was really too cool not to post, even though it was 4 months ago.

JV Baseball in the News!

The Byron Center JV baseball team got its first win of the season Friday with a 4-3 comeback victory against Plainwell.  Cort Musolf, Tyler Pols, Sam Tetreault and Mickey Sturm each had hits for the Bulldogs.  Sturm drove in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning.  Jon Stowers

BC Varsity Softball Wins at Rockford

Rockford scored two runs in their last at-bat to score a 4-3 win over Byron Center in the final game of the day.  However,  Byron Center by virtue of a 2-1 record (defeated GR Christian 8-4 and Wyoming Rogers 9-5) took home the Championship trophy.  Byron Center scored two runs off the home run by

Middle School News: Week of 4/9 to 4/13

This Week in West Middle Athletics: The Middle School Track Team is heading to East Kentwood High School on Wednesday for a Tri-Meet with Valleywood and Crestwood Middle School.   Girls Soccer will be headed to Zealand Cityside Middle School on Thursday 4/12.

Bylsma Signs to Play Hoops

Byron Center’s own Jordan Bylsma stands with his father Jeff and Coach Bailey from Grace Bible College.  Jordan signed a national letter of intent to continue his education and play basketball next year at Grace Bible in Wyoming.  Congratulations Jordan!

First Spring Games at the Sports Complex
