Caledonia avenged last year’s loss by defeating Byron Center 3-1 at Byron Center.  Caledonia pushed a run across the plate in the third inning and the score remained 1-0 until Byron Center knotted the game at 1-1 in the fifth. JV Baseball Sweeps Zeeland West

JV Baseball Sweeps Zeeland East

Congratulations to Tina Cook!  Tina was an All Conference Athlete, All District Team Member, All Regional Member, All State Member and Academic All State member in her Senior year at Byron Center.  She will continue her cheer career as one of the newest members of the Western Michigan University cheer team!  Congrats!  

Zeeland East nips Byron Center

Zeeland East scored a 2-1 victory at home to split the series with Byron Center.  Byron Center had their chances but left four runners in scoring position while was able to get a couple of timely hits late in the game.  Sophomore pitcher Michelle VandenBerg struck out six hitters but couldn’t get the run support.

JV Baseball Hit Parade leads to victory over Holland Christian

The Byron Center JV baseball team pounded out 16 hits and scored 17 runs in a 17-7 win in six innings over Holland Christian at home on Wednesday. Jon Stowers led the Bulldogs, going a perfect 4-4 at the plate with 4 RBI.  Sam VanSolkema and Mickey Sturm each had three hits on the night.
