The Lady Dawgs fired up the offense in the first inning when Kenzie Domeier drove in one with a double.

BC tallied six runs in the second inning. The big inning was driven by an errors on a balls put in play by both McKenna Hinkle and Cierra Laska, a single by AJ Gills, and a home run by Domeier.

Elayna Busing earned the victory in the pitcher’s circle for BC. She went three innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out one and walking one. Kristina Baar threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Byron Center socked two home runs on the day. Domeier went for the long ball in the second inning. Sydney Tilma went yard in the fourth inning.

Byron Center totaled 14 hits. Maddie Holverstot, Sammy Swisher, and Tilma all collected multiple hits for BC and Domeier and Gills each collected three hits to lead the charge. Byron Center didn’t commit a single error in the field.
