Kristina Baar shut down Zealand West, throwing a complete game shutout and led Byron Center to a 11-0 victory on Thursday in game 2 of the double header.

In the first inning, Byron Center got their offense started. AJ Gills doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring Cierra Laska who was on with a single.

The Bulldogs tallied five runs in the third inning from singles by Gills, Kenzie Domeier, and Kendahl Dyer and a groundout by McKenna Hinkle.

Byron Center racked up 11 hits in the game. Gills, Dyer, Laska, and Domeier each racked up multiple hits. Gills led the way with three hits in three at bats. Byron Center didn’t commit a single error in the field. Sammy Swisher had eight chances.

The Bulldogs wrapped up conference play with a 10-0 record and improved to 21-2 on the season.
